How Leverage Companies Scaled with a Fully Aligned Team, Dialer, and CRM
Jared Pershad is the president of Leverage Homes, part of the larger Leverage Companies organization. The company was founded seven years ago by David Choi and Eric Panecki, who left their jobs in commercial underwriting and private lending when real estate wholesaling became popular.
What started as a paper-flipping operation has evolved into a comprehensive real estate investment empire spanning multiple divisions.

The entire call system now lives where the team lives. What used to be scattered across multiple tools now runs from a single place. “What smrtPhone has allowed us to do is build teams and build flows and have IVRs. The whole call flow. It’s just so simple.”
Jared has seen the other side. He knows what it takes to string together different platforms just to get a basic automation working. “Normally, when you have a soft phone in Salesforce and you want to do automations, you gotta bring in something else to do the automation, something else to do the calling, and something else to do the texting.”
With smrtPhone, the work just gets done. “I can fully do my HP compliance through you guys. I can register, and then I can just run all those texts, and they come from my sales reps’ number. The text messages come back to my sales rep number, even the stuff that’s automatically applied. Really nice workflow.”
For Jared, the real shift was in control. “Being able to build automations through my CRM while manipulating the user’s phone number or a campaign number, that was a game changer for me. Because like I said, usually you’d have to tie in three additional software. You’d have to pull in a Callingly or a CallRail or something else to get that done.”

As Jared puts it, “We generate close to 3000 motivated seller leads a quarter,” a volume that simply can’t be managed through manual follow-up or disconnected tools. “If you’re building relationships, keep those numbers aside and only use those for your what we call Click-to-Call. And then on the other side of the fence, have smrtDialer phone numbers that you have on rotation in order to keep your pickup rates high.”
This structure also supports how the team trains. New hires listen to real conversations through live call monitoring, hearing how top reps navigate deals in real time. “We use call monitoring in training, so I’ll temporarily grant access to a new employee and they’ll just listen to the best sales reps talk.”
Once they’re on the phones, learning continues. Every call is recorded, reviewed, and discussed. Even experienced reps use recordings to improve their technique and tighten their close. “We use call recordings a ton in sales training, even for our existing reps. That’s one of probably the best features ever.”
