Key Takeaways

  • Every price here is the vendor's own published rate as of September 2026 - no aggregator blogs, which had one vendor's tier wrong by $40 a seat.
  • Entry prices range from $15 to $30 per user per month, but the entry tier is rarely the tier that carries the CRM integration you need.
  • Kixie publishes no per-seat price at all; you have to request a quote, which makes budgeting harder than the sticker comparison suggests.
  • The real question is not price but where the dialing happens: inside the CRM record you are already reading, or in a separate window you have to switch to.
  • smrtPhone is $29 per seat per month, and the Salesforce or HubSpot connection is a $20 add-on - so budget about $49 a seat if you want calling inside your CRM.

Most platforms that handle business calling now offer click-to-call in some form, so the choice is rarely about whether a number is clickable. It is about where the call happens – inside the CRM record you are already reading, or in a separate window you have to go find – and which pricing tier the connection you need actually sits on.

Below are six platforms compared on what their own pricing pages say as of September 2026, and on how each one delivers the click. Every figure here comes from the vendor, not from a comparison blog.

How we compared these platforms

Prices are taken from each vendor’s published pricing page in September 2026. We deliberately skipped the aggregator and rival comparison posts that dominate this search, because they are unreliable: several list JustCall’s middle tier at $49 a seat when JustCall’s own page says $69. If you are checking our numbers, check them against the vendor, and expect them to move.

Two things we do not claim. We do not state which tier includes which CRM connection for other vendors, because that detail changes often and is not consistently published – verify it for your CRM before you buy. And we do not rank these one to six, because the right answer depends on which CRM you already run.

The six platforms

smrtPhone

Calling runs inside the CRM record through a browser extension, which appears in your CRM under the name One-Click Calling. Documented setups include Podio (with the REIvolution, BeastMode and DealPro builds), Salesforce (including Left Main and Billions), InvestorFuse, DataSift, Carrot, Forefront and Realeflow. It needs at least one number on the account before it will dial.

Pricing is $29 per seat per month, or $24 billed yearly, with an Unlimited tier at $99 ($83 yearly). The Salesforce or HubSpot connection is a $20 per seat add-on, so a realistic budget for calling inside your CRM is about $49 a seat per month. We would rather say that plainly than quote you $29 and let you discover the add-on at checkout.

Best for: real estate investor and sales teams whose CRM is Podio or Salesforce, where the depth of the record integration matters more than the sticker price.

Kixie

Kixie publishes no per-seat price. You request a quote, which means you cannot put it in a spreadsheet next to the others without talking to someone first. That is a legitimate model, and for larger teams a negotiated rate can beat published pricing – but for a small team comparing options on a Tuesday afternoon it is friction, and worth knowing before you start.

Best for: teams large enough that a negotiated contract is worth the call.

JustCall

Published per-seat pricing: Team at $29 per user per month on annual billing, Pro at $69, Pro Plus at $109. Monthly billing costs more – around $39 for the Team tier – so the annual figure is the one usually quoted.

Best for: teams that want a published price ladder and are willing to commit annually to get it.

Aircall

Starts at $30 per license per month in the US. Aircall leans heavily on its integration catalogue, so the thing to check is whether your CRM is a deep integration or a shallow one – the catalogue count tells you nothing about whether calls land on the right record.

Best for: teams using mainstream sales tools who want breadth of integrations.

RingCentral

Core starts at $19.99 per user per month for up to 20 users, Standard at $24.99 with no user cap, and Premium between $34.99 and $44.99 depending on plan. RingCentral is the broadest of the six – it does far more than calling, which is either the reason to choose it or the reason not to.

Best for: organizations that want calling, meetings and messaging from one vendor and one invoice.

Dialpad

Standard is $15 per user per month, Pro is $25. The lowest published entry price here, with the caveat that a low base tier usually means the things you need sit above it. Read the tier list rather than the headline.

Best for: cost-sensitive teams with straightforward calling needs.

Choose by the CRM you already run

This is the question that actually decides it. A platform with a shallow connection to your CRM will cost you more in reconciliation than you saved on the seat price, and no feature list will warn you.

Three checks, in order. Does the vendor document your CRM by name, including whatever custom build sits on top of it – look for it on a real integrations list rather than a logo wall. Does call activity write back to the record with nobody typing? And does the call open on the record, or in a window you have to switch to and then find your place again?

If your team runs on Podio or Salesforce and lives on the phone, click-to-call in smrtPhone works inside the record rather than beside it, and every call, text and voicemail stays on the same contact. If you want the mechanic explained before the shortlist, we covered what to know about click-to-call separately.

On the published entry tier, Dialpad at $15 per user per month. But the entry tier is not the comparison that matters – what you need is the tier that includes the CRM connection your team actually uses, and every vendor here gates that differently. Price the tier that does the job, not the one on the billboard.

All six advertise Salesforce in some form, so the useful question is what “works with” means. Check three things on the vendor’s own documentation: whether calling appears inside the Salesforce record or in a separate window, whether call activity writes back without anyone typing, and which pricing tier the connection requires. In smrtPhone the Salesforce connection is a $20 per seat add-on and calling runs inside the record – see how the Salesforce integration works.

Generally yes – number porting is standard across all six, and none of them treat it as a premium feature. What varies is how long it takes and whether your current provider slows it down. Start the port before you cancel anything, and keep the old service running until calls are arriving on the new one.

Watch for seat minimums and quote-gating rather than headline price. A platform with no published pricing means a sales call before you can even compare, and some vendors set a license minimum that makes the real entry cost higher than the per-seat figure implies. For a small team, a published per-seat price you can add up yourself is worth more than a discount you have to negotiate for.
