One record. Every channel.

Calls, texts, voicemail – they all belong to the same conversation. Not three separate tools. Not three separate inboxes. One place where your team sees everything and picks up where the last person left off.

Every call becomes a record.

Inbound and outbound from one place. Recorded, transcribed, logged to your CRM without anyone touching it manually. When the call ends, the work is already in the system.

Texts that belong to the conversation, not to a person.

Every text lives inside the same conversation record as your calls. No separate inbox. No context lost when someone’s out. The thread stays intact regardless of who picks it up next.

Voicemails your team can act on immediately.

Every voicemail transcribed and attached to the contact record automatically. No manual logging. No listening through messages. The work is ready when your team is.

FAQ

Common questions about the smrtPhone phone system

How calls, texts and voicemail behave once they are running through your CRM.

smrtPhone connects directly to Podio, Salesforce (including Left Main, Billions and Streamline REI), InvestorFuse and Tape. For Podio and Tape, a Communications App is installed into your workspace so calls, texts and voicemails are tracked against the right records.

Yes. Calls and texts are recorded against the contact record as they happen, and call notes entered in the Chrome extension sync to your CRM automatically. Nobody has to copy anything across after the fact.

Cold transfer is available from the dialer on every plan. Warm transfer, conference calling and hold are smrtPhone Pro features, added mid-call with “Add Call”.

Each text message is billed per 160 characters. A longer message is still delivered as a single message, but it is billed as two.

Voicemail transcription is optional and costs $0.06 per minute. Transcriptions appear under Inbox > Voicemails in your CRM and in the mobile app.

Yes. The mobile app gives your team their CRM contacts plus the same calling and texting tools they have at a desk, so work done on the road lands in the same conversation record.
