JustCall alternative

The JustCall alternative that includes the dialer

JustCall is the closest of these products to smrtPhone on raw features, and the argument is not that it is worse. It is that the entry tiers both read $29 and then diverge. JustCall's $29 Team plan has no dialer, so a calling team actually starts at Pro for $49, and it will not sell fewer than two licences. Its phone numbers are sold as bundles with no published price where ours are $2 to $5 each. And of the investor CRM stack it lists Podio and HighLevel, where smrtPhone is native across all of it. What JustCall gives you that we do not is unlimited inbound and outbound minutes on every plan.

No card required. No seat minimum.

The short version

  • JustCall Team at $29 includes no dialer. Pro at $49 is the first plan that does, and both require a minimum of 2 licences.
  • Every JustCall plan includes unlimited inbound and outbound calling. smrtPhone includes 500 minutes a seat and charges $0.03 after that, or $99 a seat for unlimited.
  • JustCall sells phone numbers as Local Number Bundles, an add-on with no price published on its pricing page. smrtPhone numbers are $2 to $5 each.
  • JustCall SalesPro dials up to 10 predictive lines against smrtDialer's 4, and is quote-only.
  • Of the investor CRM stack, JustCall lists Podio and HighLevel. InvestorFuse, Left Main REI, DataSift, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot and Tape are not in its directory.

What it actually costs, with the arithmetic shown

One person who dials out of a CRM list, on annual billing. This is the case where the two price lists genuinely diverge, and the caveat below says what happens as soon as you add a second person.

Monthly cost of JustCall and smrtPhone for the same workload
Line item JustCall smrtPhone
Cheapest plan with a power dialer Pro, $49 a user Standard seat $29, plus smrtDialer $50
Licences you have to buy for one person 2, the published minimum 1
Seat cost for that one person $98 $79
Calling minutes Unlimited 500 a seat, then $0.03
Text segments included 1,000 on Pro 1,000 a seat
Monthly total, one person dialing out $98 $79

That gap exists because JustCall will not sell one licence, and it is specific to a single dialing user - add a second person and the arithmetic changes, so price both properly at your own size. Their minutes are unlimited on every plan and ours are metered after 500 a seat, which widens that further for a team on the phone all day. The case for us is the CRM depth, the per-number pricing and compliance in the base seat, not the monthly total.

Both columns are list prices published by each vendor on annual billing. JustCall SalesPro, the plan with predictive dialing, is quote-only and is not in this table. Its Local Number Bundles carry no published price either, so they are excluded rather than estimated.

The other side

When JustCall is the better choice

JustCall runs a predictive dialer on up to 10 lines on its SalesPro plan; smrtDialer runs up to 4. If your model is a large seated team burning through enormous lists, check that number first. Every JustCall plan includes unlimited inbound and outbound calling, where smrtPhone meters after 500 minutes a seat. It also carries channels we do not, WhatsApp among them, and lists over a hundred integrations against our ten native ones plus webhooks.

  • You need predictive dialing on more than 4 lines.
  • Your team is on the phone all day and unlimited minutes beat metered ones.
  • WhatsApp or another channel we do not carry is part of how you work.
  • Your stack is broad and mainstream rather than deep in one CRM.

Why people compare the two and move

  1. The $29 plans are not the same plan

Both entry tiers read $29. Ours calls, texts and connects to your CRM, and smrtDialer bolts on at any tier. JustCall Team has no dialer at all, so a calling team starts at Pro for $49 - and at two licences minimum, whether or not there are two of you.

Dialer available at any tier, from $50
  2. Numbers stopped being a line item they could read

Teams running local presence need a lot of numbers. JustCall sells them as Local Number Bundles, an add-on its pricing page carries no figure for, so the number spend is a conversation rather than a calculation. Ours are $2 to $5 each with one included per seat.

Numbers at $2 to $5 each, published
  3. The CRM depth stopped short of their stack

JustCall lists more than a hundred integrations, including Podio and HighLevel. If you run InvestorFuse, Left Main REI, DataSift, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot or Tape, none of them are there.

What smrtPhone users say

Everything above is our claim. This is not: these are reviews left on Capterra, where most reviewers are real estate investors.

What switching actually involves

Numbers port. If you are on JustCall Team and were about to upgrade to Pro for the dialer, that is the natural moment to compare: roughly the same money buys a smrtPhone seat plus smrtDialer, for one person rather than two licences.

  1. Port your numbers. They move with you. Nobody has to learn a new number.
  2. Connect the CRM. Calls, texts, recordings and dispositions start writing to the record.
  3. Rebuild your call flows. Routing, ring groups, business hours and the DNC applet.
  4. Run both for a few days. Then move the dialing over once the logging looks right.

How long the port really takes

  • Porting takes one to three weeks once the paperwork is in and confirmed. It is faster when your current provider sits on the same underlying carrier we do, and slower if the paperwork comes back rejected over a detail that does not match your carrier record.
  • Support does the work. You start it from live chat and the team handles the submission.
  • Do not cancel your old provider until the port completes. Your number keeps working throughout.
  • Occasionally voice ports a few hours before texting does. It settles by itself.

Questions people ask before switching

Does JustCall's cheapest plan include a dialer?

No. The Team plan at $29 a user a month billed annually has no dialer in its feature list. The power dialer starts on Pro at $49, and the predictive dialer is on SalesPro, which is quote-only. Both Team and Pro carry a two-licence minimum. With smrtPhone the seat is $29 and smrtDialer adds on at any tier from $50 a seat, for as few as one person.

How much does JustCall cost?

Billed annually: Team $29 a user, Pro $49 and Pro Plus $89, each with a two-licence minimum. Business requires ten licences and is quote-only, as is SalesPro. Local Number Bundles and SMS bundles are add-ons with no published price, and AI Review Assist is an add-on below Pro Plus and included from Pro Plus up. Every JustCall plan includes unlimited inbound and outbound calling.

Which dials more lines?

JustCall, at the top end. Its SalesPro plan runs a predictive dialer on up to 10 lines. smrtDialer runs up to 4 lines with AI voice detection. For most real estate and investor teams 4 lines is the working number, but if you need 10, JustCall has it and we do not.

Does JustCall integrate with Podio?

Yes. Podio is in JustCall's integration directory, and so is HighLevel. They are the two from the investor stack that it carries. InvestorFuse, Left Main REI, DataSift, Realeflow, Invelo, Carrot and Tape are native to smrtPhone and are not in JustCall's directory.

What do phone numbers cost?

smrtPhone numbers are $2 to $5 a number a month depending on volume, with one number included per seat. JustCall sells them as Local Number Bundles, listed as an add-on on every plan with no price published on its pricing page, so you need a quote to know what local presence will cost you.
